The Team Liquid eSports team is known to everyone who has ever watched CS:GO or Dota 2 games. One of the most famous and strongest eSports teams in the world. The team regularly participates in the world championships in StarCraft 2, League of Legends, Dota 2, Hearthstone, CS:GO, Street Fighter, Rainbow Six, PUBG and wins prizes.

History of Team Liquid

The team was founded in 2000 as a StarCraft clan. With the growth of professionalism and the arrival of new players, Team Liquid became an esports team and began to take part in Dota 2 and cs:go championships.

The updated team began to win regularly, showing an excellent game. Team Liquid has repeatedly surprised the audience with their game, the number of frags. Don’t forget that you can choose this team for esports betting.

  • Gabriel Toledo (Fallen), the team captain in the role of sniper, joined the team in January of this year. Winner of two Major victories, and an excellent player in cs 1.6. The player has an excellent ratio of wins and losses, where wins predominate. His AWP game is amazing, and every player dreams of having his reaction.
  • Michael Wince (GRIM) is the team’s entry fragger. He joined the team in 2020 and left it in 2022. He is 22 years old, and he shows excellent results as a professional esportsman during his game.
  • Jonathan Jablonowski, (EliGe). He joined Team Liquid in 2015, and his role in the team is entry frager. Previously, he played StarCraft 2 professionally, where he achieved excellent results.
  • Jake Yip (Stewie2K). He used to play for Cloud9, where he won a Major together with them. Now Liquid is one of the key players in the team.
  • Keith Markovich (NAF) joined the team in 2018. Previously, he played for many other teams, but they either broke up or he left.

The team shows excellent results in tournaments where it takes top places.

  1. Team Liquid took 3rd place in the DreamHack Open March 2021 tournament and won a $6,000 prize pool.
  2. In February the team took 3rd place in the IEM Katowice 2021 tournament and $80,000.
  3. December 2020, and 2nd place in the IEM Global Challenge 2020 tournament and $100,000.

Dota 2

Team Liquid Dota 2.

The team has been playing Dota 2 since 2012. At the moment, the lineup includes such players as:

  • Michael Vu (miCKe) has been with the team since 2019. He takes a carry role and does it well, showing excellent results on different heroes.
  • Max Broker (qojqva) is the team’s midlaner and has been playing for the team since 2019. He became popular thanks to his performance in Mousesports team, where he and his teammates showed excellent results. For Team Liquid, he used to play the role of a hardliner but later changed it to a midlaner.
  • Samuel Svahn (Boxi) has been with the team since 2019 and plays the offlaner role. He managed to qualify for his first Major in 2018-2019, but, unfortunately, didn’t win it.
  • Tommy Le (Taiga) has been with the team since 2019. He is a semi-support of the team. He shows excellent results for his role and helps his team perfectly, winning difficult moments of the game.
  • Aydin Sarkohi (iNSaNiA) joined the team in 2019 as full support.

There were many Dota 2 tournaments where Team Liquid showed excellent results. We have already written about the biggest prize money in Dota2 esports.

  1. ESL One Germany 2020, the team took 1st place and won $150.000.
  2. Dota Summit 13, the team takes 2nd place with $11,000 in prize money.
  3. OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online. The team takes 2nd place and takes $32,000.
