Evil Geniuses esports team, or EG for short, was founded in 1999. The team from the USA has become popular for its performance on Dota 2 and Counter-Strike.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
CS:GO lineup consists of 5 players, not counting the coach or psychologist.
Roster:
- Peter Jarguz (Stanislav) is the CS:GO team leader. He is the oldest of the players on this team.
- Tsvetelin Dimitrov (CERQ) is the AWPer of the team. His abilities with this weapon are amazing, and he plays really well with it in tournaments.
- Vincent Cayonte (Brehze) has been a team member for 2 years now, and he has already made some noise with his arena play. He is known for winning the most difficult rounds in the game.
- Owen Schlatter (oBo) has been playing at the professional level since he was 17 and has shown amazing results.
- Michal Muller (MICHU) is a new player on the team about whom there is not much information yet, but EG knows how to surprise his players.
Won CS:GO tournaments
- In October 2019, the team won 1st place in the StarSeries&I-League Season 8 tournament and picked up $250,000.
- September 2019 brings the team 1st place in the ESL One: New York tournament and $100,000.
- August 2020, the team takes 1st place in the ESL One Cologne tournament and picks up $65,000.
Dota 2
The team currently has 6 players, including the coach.
Roster:
- Daryl Koh Pei Xiang (ICEICEICE) holds the role of offlaner. Since his childhood, he has played in various tournaments and is currently showing great play on the EG team.
- Artur Babaev (Arteezy) took the role of Carry. Thanks to his perfect game, he is one of the most famous players in Dota 2. The player returns to the team for the 3rd time and surprises everyone on the pro scene.
- Kanishka ‘Sam’ Sosale (BULBA) is the team’s coach. The player has played for teams such as Liquid, Secret and Mousesports. He recently moved on to coach at EG and is doing fine in that position.
- Tal Aizik (FLY) is the team’s support. His appearances for Secret, Complexity, and OG have established him as a great friend and player.
- Andreas Franck Nielsen (CR1T) is the second support. He has been a player on Team EG since 2016 and has shown great results in that role.
- Abed Azel L. Yusop (ABED) is the team’s hardlaner. He has been playing Dota 2 since he was 15 years old and has managed to be on the Fnatic team. Since 2019 he has been a player on the Evil Geniuses esports team.
Won Dota 2 tournaments
- In April 2020, the team took 1st place in the BTS pro: America tournament and won $21,000.
- April 2020 brings another win for the team in the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 tournament and $20,000.
- In July 2018, EG won the Summit 9 tournament, Beating Team Fnatic 3-0.
Team Evil Geniuses continues to be successful in Dota2 due to teamwork.
League of Legends
The team has 5 players who show their skill level at a high level.
Roster:
- Jeong Eon-yeong (IMPACT) is the player who occupies the top position. He is considered one of the best players in this position. He’s won a few All-ProTeam awards.
- Lee Dong-geun (IGNAR) is the team’s support. He’s won several top places with Misfits and FlyQuest.
- Matthew Chen (Deftly) is the bot lane player. He joined the team in 2020.
- Daniele di Mauro (JIIZUKE) is a team mid laner. He joined the team in 2020.
- Dennis Johnsen (SVEHSKEREN) is a jungler in the team. He has been on the pro scene since he was 15 years old and surprised with his abilities. Because of his abilities, his teams go out into the world and show great results.
Won tournaments in League of Legends
- In April 2020, the team placed 3rd in the LCS 2020 Spring Split Playoffs tournament with a $25,000 win.
- In March 2020, Evil Geniuses placed 3rd in the LCS Academy 2020 Spring Split Tournament and won $7,000.
